Yeah, temporary for sure. It's for the engine break-in so it won't have to cool the engine when it's running hard.

The REPU radiator is fairly large and weighs the same as a tall FB rad. It's shorter with a 13" tall core, and 17" tall overall. I could build a small shroud so I can still use my 16" electric fan. I'll install an aftermarket water temp guage to keep an eye on the 13B with the beehive. Then the 20B will continue using the same gauge, so it will be a great way to see if three rotors can run cooler without the oil's heat getting into the mix.
cool

The 13B is almost together.

All that's left is to look online for where to drill the hole in the front cover for an oil return line from a supercharger (I know the area, but I need a picture). After that, I'll thread it and install a 1/4 NPT plug and then the oil pan. All that's left are the manifolds and this engine will be done.

I'm waiting for advice on the slightly sloppy stock oil pump chain in the 13B. It seems like it has more slop than it should (to me anyway). After that's figured out, I'll put the pan on and let the sealant cure. While it's curing, I'll move a bunch of stuff around so I can get the engine crane out to pull the 20B out of the car. Then I'll deal with the tranny tunnel and put the 13B in.

sounds like a good plan. Are you sure that the chain isn't streched beyond spec?

I think it is. I've gotten no feedback on my other thread, so I'm probably going to dig around in a couple engine parts boxes and find all three of my other chains. I'll place them all on a pencil and check for droopage.

Oh by the way, I figured out how to get color pics from the black and white CCD camera.
