I test fitted the 20B again after trimming some more metal near the gas pedal. It fits a lot better and looks like the Atkins manifold will work pretty well. I still have to trim a little more to get the tranny in. After everything fits, I'll start tacking the exhaust together and redoing the tranny tunnel.

Cool.Make sure to get the fit the way you want it tho. That way you only have to weld and paint it once.Welds rust quick when they are not primered up.I should know that well.

That's a good idea.

It's raining outside, so I am going to spend my time inside today. Maybe I can test fit the tranny?

Hows the shifter location with this new setup in there?

I got the engine and tranny in the car. It looks like the tranny tunnel may need to be split down the middle and widened. The engine is tilted too much at the moment.

The shifter location will actually be around 1" further forward than I originally thought. I'll need to elongate the new hole a little.
