Interesting. How does it make life easier to use flux core if welding from under the car? Very interesting.

The flux helps the weld stick to the metal.Its like the flux they use in soldering iron solder

I got the waterpump on just a few minutes ago. On the flip side, that B2000 is almost ready to go.

It's a rotary powered B2000 that needed an ignition upgrade. All I have left is some wiring. If the weather's nicer tomorrow, it ought to be finished.

Not mine. Yes 13B. Pics can be seen on my webpage. Basically, it had a bad wiring job on the ignition so I upgraded it. Here's a thread following my progress. http://www.mazdarepu.com/board/viewt...?TID=653&FID=1



Now back to the 20B! So far I've drilled out the two oil passages in the filter blockoff to 1/2" instead of 3/8th" as they came from RB. I figured I'd reduce as much bottlenecking as I could since it's going on a 20B and all.
