I still have a bit of work left to do. I keep telling myself that it'll only take a couple of days, and then the little things end up taking longer than I thought. You may get yours started before I do.

i ordered the brackets on the 26th they shipped them on the 28th, and ups ground from the east coast? i also have to redo the ic pipes/raditator/oil cooler bracket and find a home for the battery

I also have to do the raditator, oil cooler, and find a home for the battery. But that's all after I get it running in my driveway. I hope it's not a smoker.

if it helps mine was never maintained, the oil in the pan was jet black, and the air filter had 1" of crap on it, and it doesnt smoke at all

That's some nasty oil you had there! My oil was in need of changing, but it wasn't as bad as yours.



Hey, you know the little BAC water line fittings on the water pump and rear plate of S4 and later engines? Should I run a hose connecting them? Or should I block them off?

you can either block em off or run a hose. its cleaner to cap it

I could easily tap some threads in the waterpump. It's not like it's ever going back on an S4 engine. The rear plate will need a cap I suppose. I wonder if the vacum cap on the rat's nest would work? It's higher quality than these cheap rubber things I got from Schuck's. Or I may cap 'em both.
