20b In A Glc

A shot from the inside after I did some more cutting to the firewall. Now that I think about it, it may have been a better idea to have simply cut out the whole bloody thing and started over. But then again, all this will need is several little patches and then it's done. I'll see how hard it is to weld on that stuff when the welder gets here.

Here's the fuel cell installed in the spare tire well. Well actually, the whole thing was comepletely missing when I got the car. Not to mention the sheet metal that was welded in there was cut out to fit the sump facing forward for chris'sakes! That's just wrong! I took the anitiative (sp?) and installed it the correct direction and below the sheet metal. That's basically what took me so long to install it if you recall my earlier posts in this thread.
I think I'll use a browny tin to cover the guage sender.

Fun stuff. By the way, I'm not too happy with the quality of the Mazdatrix 20B exhaust flange. It looks like their laser cutting or whatever it is was not adjusted right or something. I think RB's flange costs $44 and Mazdatrix' is $42. Maybe it;s because this is a copy of RB's original?
I'll make it fit correctly, (you know I will) but it's kinda weird.
