Moral support from you guys? Whoa Nelly!

To speed up the process, I'm going to forgo the baffle plate and simply use the material I have here. I'm also going to play around with the air compressor today.

Let's see if this works (it's the HITman's NOT20B RX-7). This should give me some motivation.

I'm done setting up the compressor. Next is to make room for it. Then I can get back to the 20B.

I'm trying to piece together a bolt set for the engine to bellhousing out of my spare bolts pile.

So far, I found an FD bolt that's perfect for the one I'm missing. It's the one that fits below the starter and has to have 70mm of free length. I also found that an '82 or older alternator bolt is good to use with the starter. You know, the old FB style? It's doesn't have to be as long as an FC or FB bolt because the 20B doesn't have a hole there; well, it's got a gaping hole, but anyway. The rest are all found except for maybe the lower right corner. I've got a damaged one with trashed threads that somebody tried to use in the starter hole. I swear I didn't do it, 'cause I'm a professional! I would never confuse a 1.25 with a 1.5 thread pitch... So I've got to match it up with whatever else I have. Here's to not having to go buy a bolt from wherever.

Man, what a boring post compared to you guys! An E11 and a beefy custom FD subframe? Man, I can't compete with that!

Details? Who, me?

I cut out the oil pan 'baffle' plate today. The next step is to cut out the middle and clean it up a bit. Then it and the 13B pan can go on the engine.

I also found a bolt for the rear lifting hook. It's a perfect match lengthwise for one off of my 13B. It's one of those 8.8 aftermarket bolts you find here and there. It's got a 17mm head on it. I'm not sure which engine it'll go on yet. Just another boring detail.
