I need to make some ACV blockoff plates and other 1/8 aluminum stuff today. After that, it should go pretty quickly. I even got a yoohoo belt for the test run. I won't bother hooking up an alternator for now. It all makes sense...

Oh, I also took a few pictures yesterday. I needed to finish the roll of film, so some of the pics might not be that great. I've just got to get 'em developed and scanned.

Pics are coming soon.

I got some welding vicegrips today. They were an ebay thing. I also got some arrow shaped magnets from the same guy. He gave me a deal where I could save a couple bucks in shipping because he boxed them together. Pretty cool, and good prices too. http://www.GREAT-TOOLS.com

Unfortunately, the welder won't be here for another two weeks. I think I'll have to kiss sevenstock goodbye for now.

At least the engine is closer to running now. I marked the pulley, installed the dizzy, blocked the oil injector holes with flexplate bolts, installed the primary injector rail temporarily (gonna get an injector blockoff kit someday), and ground the little crimped section off the tops of the exhaust nuts. It was either grind them, or try to find six stainless steel exhaust nuts. I think they'll be fine with lock washers like older NA rotaries.

I still need to drill out the two broken studs, make some blockoffs (for the ACV etc), and the list goes on. Heh, like I could get it running in two days. As if!

Well, a bit of good news is that I currently have all day tomorrow to work on the engine. Unless something comes up, and I hope nothing will, I may get it fired up. Heh, yeah right. We'll see.

Ok, like I said, I've got all day to work on the engine. I wonder how much I'll actually accomplish today?
