I test fitted the tranny again yesterday and it looks like the seam where the two parts meet needs to go. I wanted to keep that seam for strength.
Mike, since the GLC has the same unibody framework as an RX-3, do you think it would weaken the car's structure if I cut out several inches of the tranny tunnel? Also, the gas pedal looks like it will just squeak by the starter after cutting and hammering down in that corner.
