well here's the total for putting togethr my street/strip 12a



84 gsl w/ new bridge port motor= 1500$

turbo mani, 62-1 turbo, and fmic= 1000$

650 dbl pumper = 265$

fpr & fuel pump = 360$

carb bonnet = 75$

act clutch = 275$

c&r radiator = 450$

balck magic fan = 175$

b&m oil cooler = 60$

fittings and oil/fuel lines = 220$

guages(oil press, water temp, boost)= 200$

auto meter pro comp tach = 270$

ford 9' rear end (used) = 200$

and i still need to get the car back halfed and a roll cage installed thats gonna cost me about 1500$ more

 

yeah, on that ford rear. how big a job is that. i was thinking of doing that if i ever make enough power to burn my rear.

what tranny are u going to use?

 

im using a t5 international for a tranny



as far as the rear goes im getting it done by a shop that specializes in race car chassis and fabrication. they gonna install the roll cage and the 4link with the rear end

 

im guessing this will be mostly a race car, with some street once in a while.

 

yeah its a race car which im leaving semi street legal basically just leaving the lights and windows on ohh and a muffler. other than that its gonna have a stripped interior except dash and door panels and one racing bucket seat

 

the turbo manifold and turbo seems kinda cheap...you've got the hookup somehow i assume...or what's up with that?

 

yeah i got a really good hook up actually a few good hook ups
