Street Ported 12a Vs Shitty Drum Rear End
#1
I recently had my 12A steet ported and to make a long story short I fucked up my rear end. Oh I for got to mention I bougth an ACT 6 puck dual sping clutch and pressure plate. My local advisor says That a gsl or a gsl-se rear will do the same thing. is this tru, if so which rear end should I use and I would perfer it to be a disk set up. please help

If It were me, I would swap it with the GSL rear end. It is lighter and does not change the bolt pattern. You really do not need the GSL-SE rear end, it is heavier duty, but it is heavier and you would have to change the bolt pattern for front to match the GSL-SE rear. With a GSL rear end, you would not have to change wheels, and save weight. Plus the GSL rotors are 1/2 price of the GSL-SE rotors. Just my two cents.

Yeah i keep hearing how ACT's will break your transmission and rear end, because they grab SO hard.
I'm going w/ an OEM replacement clutch (the same as Racing Beat's "Street/Strip" disc), and then the Racing Beat Street/Strip pressure plate unit. I've heard this is a very good agressive combination.
