Hello,

I havn't had much trouble out of my car in a while...my only problem right now is that she runs quite rough at idle...I also have considerable smoke from under my hood...coming from what I think is oil getting on the bolt on catalyst. Anyway, any help would be appreciated...it almost sounds like a boinger with racing cams instead of its usual pleasant hum.

thanks,

Falcoln

Start off by doing all the things that you normally do in a good tune up, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter, oil, etc. Then see how it is. If it persists it is probably a vacuum leak, chase it by spraying the hoses with carb cleaner or b12 or something, if there is a leak there it will surge the motor.

Good luck,
