Hey guys. I've got an 84 GSL that had its carb go out. I talked with Jerry of Clean and Fast and he recomended the Holley, which I had already read about, and some exaust stuff. Well, ive now got a Holly 465, racingbeat headers, and a high flow cat. Now, ive got 2 questions. He says this will pass emissions, but when I read the stuff here in North Caronlina it says if you take the airpump off you can be fined. Well..it dosent DO anything anymore! Should i just bolt it back on and make it look like its connected? Second, this thing is a bitch to tune. The default settings are 1/5 turns out from full closed. Its a crappy idle, so i tried both in and out, small incriments. I still can't get it to go smooth. Any tips? When he did it it was PURRRINNG, but the temp has changed about 20 degress and i need to tune it again. Any advice or tips? Thanks for any help, and thanks for a great forum!

i think you need to take it back to the guy, if the temp changes 20degrees it shouldnt make a noticable difference, and b it wont pass smog that i know of, unless you rig something up
