I finally braved the cold and got my 13B swapped NA up and running again.Last time it ran it was with my old dellorto setup I miss that old reliable carb. I got it to run with a few cranks of the key but I still need to set the timing with this carb setup on it.My problem I am running into is the car want to rev to 6k and stay there when its cold.Is there something I can adjust on the carb to set this lower is it something to do with the throttle cable?I did have to build custom linkages because the factory weber linkages like to snap and bend like twigs. At least it fires up now.Never tried it since this carb was working right.Any help is usefull.Heres a quick pic of my beasts engine bay for those who even remotely care.

Thanks.

Sort of. Your engine will have 12A in raised letters.

its a 45 DCOE.And doesn't like to idle with the pump fuse on it.It floods out really easy.Any ideas why???

Fuel Pressure too high, and/or dirty carb.

Try lots of carb cleaner first.

Clean it to get the carb to work properly. And its on a stocker 83 pump.As soon as I get it to run without the fuel pump fuse in it runs on the gas in the system then when I put the fuse in it floods out.Thank god for new spark plugs.Fires back up after a little cranking.
