A friend of mine has a 79 that he bought with a widebody already on it. He knew the kit was offered by the name of "kent racing" at some point. about a year ago i was able to find a site selling these kits (gtu/isma replicas). They were of course fairly expensive, but now i'm willing to pay the price, of course now i cannot find the page. Either it doesn't exist, or i can't remember what I typed into google way back then. I've gone threw many widebody pictures and have found a few similar, but i guess i'm kinda picky on this choice. Any help will be appreciated greatly.

Thanx,

Ian

yeah... pretty damn close to that. they had like 6 different kits, but they were all about that wide, just different gradients, vents, etc. I'll call him.

I have that body on my GT2. Thats the current E Pro and older GT 2/3 body from MAZDA.

The Kent molds were made by Kent racing when Tommy Kendal campaigned in early 80's

The nose and fenders are one big piece which come off together. The rear of the front wheel wells are open not inclosed like the Mazda GT body.

If its not style then you can get the body from many places including Mazda.

best of luck. You may have a car with history if tub/tube chasis and a log book.

thank you so much, thats the old site i had found. all these kits are awesome. After losing hope in finding these, i had taken some steps to produce my own fiberglass widebodies. I haven't made them yet, but i might be doing it soon. I'll let you guys know when i'm ready to go if i keep going. that way i can get some input to what you want to see implemented.
