jetting weber dcoe 45 to a 6p 13b

ok so ive searched this site and rx7club.com ive a got 83 rx7 with a 84 se motor only thing done to motor is i put a k&n filter ,header and 45 dcoe sidedraft i ve got the holley red top pump the car will start run alright untill u try to floor it and it just falls flat on its face i know i got 40mm chokes witch r to big and i cant tink of with the other jet sizes are any help would be greatfull

i would think 40 venturies would be ok.



when you say falls on its face is it, lean? or rich?



do you have a wideband o2 sensor?



theres a cheap weber tuning book, you should be able to pick it up at borders/barnes and noble, it does a good job of explaining how the carb works

it sounds like its really lean i drove it the other day changed out the chokes to 36mm it dosen't cut out as bad but if u try to give it gas really quick it will die??????

you need to know your emulsion tube and other jets or noone can help you. I doubt tyou searched rx7club very well because there are countless 45 dcoe threads I have posted in where I have made recomendations on setups.

ok so i took apart my carb today and this is what it has 36 mm chokes f11 e-tube 190 main 155 air 65f9 tdle and a 45 pump jet
