-Check the Choke...

-Check the drain holes in the corners (usually, you need to run something through them to unclog them).

-Is it the speedo or the tach? Speedo runs off a plastic gear on the tranny (1 10mm nut hold it in) and drives a cable directly to the speedo. Check to see if it is properly seated at both ends. Check the gear is not stripped or broken. Those are fine, it is the speedo itself... If it is your tach, check your ignitors...

It is a fun car, sounds like your problems are minor.

i know that if your looking for the weather stripping that there is a place called black dragon

www.blackdragonauto.com

they have all the strippings and parts that you could ever want, but prices are for new parts and are expensive. if you don't need new then search around for a parts car, because it will be a 100 times cheaper

Try removing your speedometer cable from trans side grease it really good and push it back in. Check the drains in back and put on a new seal. If choke does not stay out then you may need a new choke cable assembly otherwise check to see if you have spark on leading and trailing during that initial start up, an ignitor may not be firing right away. Also check your carb adjustment.
