One day i turned on my headlights and the dash lights were out. Checked the fuse and it pops instantly when i turn on the running/dash lights. The headlights and turn signals work. I checked all the lights and sockets for them, clean and fine. When on to try and replace the switch itself, just the headlight side. when i took it apart it exploded with springs and tiny metal *****. Now I'm in the same spot except there's no handle for my headlight switch. Should i replace the whole combo switch? And how do you get that thing off?

yeah you need a whole combo switch, theres a little hose clamp thing on the back, you take off the steering wheel, and loosen the clamp and it slides right off.

if its blowing fuses, that means that theres a short to ground somewhere.
