So this is my first time posting, I've only had my car for about a month, it's an 85 rx-7 stick shift, and I absolutely love it.

I'm seventeen and it's my first car.

The reason I'm posting is I can't seem to figure out how to fix my rear view mirror.

Today at a red light I was taking off my sweat shirt and knocked the mirror, which popped the cover off of the dome light, and the mirror was dangling by the wires. It seems the mirror base has a hook sort of thing, so I attached it, then put the cover on. I thought the problem would have been fixed, but the mirror is now extremely loose, and I can't figure out the right way to stabilize it. Is there a screw that is supposed to attach it? Nothing else fell off but the cover.

Anything I'm missing?

I ended up figuring it out, basically I was just being too timid and afraid of breaking something, the base of the mirror pops in.

Thanks for the offer to help though, if I have more problems I'll take some pictures.
