ok a friend of mine found me a gsl (yr unknown at the moment) just the rollin chassis and another friend has a fc that he's tryin 2 sell for cheap, i was thinkin on using the front subfram like (i 4got who it was on this board did already) and doing the 13b-re, turbo II brakes, turbo II trans, gsl-se rear end, cryo treating all the gears in the trans, rear end, ect, so basically im asking on your input if i should continue with this or what other combo's would you (fellow 1st gen member's) suggest your input is gladly appreciated....and no im not going to accept any suggestions to put a 302,305,350 or whatever in there, im keepin it rotary, also not to excited on doin a 3rotor swap because it's still going to be a street driven car, im lookin for a practical or at least somewhat practical street car, thnx in advance an sorry for makin it so long

y not with the fc subframe? woudnt it make everything that much easier since i want to run turbo II calipers, the 13b-re, and wouldnt there be a lil bit more room around the radiator area to fit a decent IC?, dont get me wrong im open to suggestions, just would like to know y u say u wouldnt go that far
its not easy to put the subframe in, but its not hard to put fc calipers on either. ive seen pictures of japanese setups and they run the fc hub and base model front rotor with the 4 piston caliper on a custom bracket. the only thing you need to make is a 2"x6" peice of steel with 4 holes in it.
besides the 13b-re doesnt mount up to the fc subframe, its easier to mount it to the fb stuff.

well if i wasnt going to use the subframe i was going to buy the big brake kit from cp racing (the way i figure i feel safer at the moment if i buy saftey stuff like that from a reputible company than making it myself an having somethin go wrong) sorry 4 so many questions, but what makes it so hard 2 mount the re in the fc subframe?

you have to buy a set of cosmo engine mounts, the fb subframe can just use the stock stuff
