Which screw is the adjustement for the fuel mixture on a 80 carb. Is it the top or bottom adjustment screw.. One is a flat head screw driver (top) and one is a phillips head (bottom). Dumb question but i lost my book and forget which one it is.

the 80 and earlier ones have a fuel bleed screw and an air bleed screw. i think the smaller phillips is the fuel screw, but im not 100% (more like 70%)

I believe the big flat blade one is the idle speed, small spring loaded one is richness. Just sold my '79 (got a '88 vert) so I can't check.

Yea. I think that the big flat one is the idle adjustment and the lower screw is the fuel mixture.. Got everything figured out now. thanx
