I'm going to be helping my nephew with his RX7 project. The car is actually a S4 NA shell but we wanted to run a blow carb setup and FB guys seem to know the best info which is why i'm posting this here. I'm also going to be putting a S5 turbo II engine and trans. I already have the turbo II rear end, driveshaft, and FB distributor . Well i did a lil research and i will is be going with either a pro-jay or jw 4 barrel intake manifold. I was thinking of running a 650 Demon blow through carb with annualar booster. I will be running an holset hx52 turbo. What do you guys think of that carb setup and what fuel pump and regulator would you guys suggest?

It would be easier keeping it Fuel injected and just running a Full standalone ECU. http://www.diyautotune.com/ The megasquirt II is good. http://www.aaroncake.net/RX-7/mods.htm Looke at turbo charging a N/A Rx7 and the Megasquriting RX7 guide. They both are very very helpful

blow through will work fine. holley and demond carbs both work fine when properly turbo prepped. there are guys making over 600 hp to the wheels with those carb in blow through setups. use a mallory #4309 return style rising rate fuel pressure regulator with any type of efi style fuel pump, IE bosch 044, walbro 255, aremotive a 1000 .....

lock the advance on your distributor, set the timing at 10 degrees total advance, run some 9 heat range plugs and your done! simple

here is a link to the top dog when it comes to holley blowthrough http://www.csucarbs.com/
