Advice Needed
#1
My first car was a 1980 RX7, and I have to say I loved driving it, when it worked!!!!! It was awful!!! Well, crazy as I am, I am considering getting on again... Its been 13 years since that disaster, and I am going back for more. I need some advice as to what year was the best. I only want up to a '85, do not like the second generation look.

well the best is hands down a 93 and up. if you want a 1st gen. then id look into a 84-85 GSLSE. it came with: bigger(13B) FI engine, bigger wheels, bigger brakes and bigger/better bolt pattern(a more common 4x114.5 as opposed to the 4x110).
the theres the GSLwhich was the top of the line 12A.

I own a '79 model that's modified pretty hard, it has a 13B, full RB exhaust, gsl-se, underneath, adjustable every which way, body kit, and so on.
I've drove many other cars, but none of them even come close to the feel of my car, I LOVE IT!!!
I would highly recomend you get another one.
The best way to go is an 84-85 GSL-SE but they are hard to come by, if your mechanical or have the money try a project like mine you can't beat it.
It runs 13.40's and will kill any other car on the twisties.

Tell yuh what, Buckaroo...
Have a '84 GSL-SE set up for street and auto-X. Silver with brown leather interior. Glass moonroof, lots of new parts. Asking $3000, but will haggle if you convince me that you're the man....
