83's Tach Jumps?

It's just the tach that does it too.Any suggestions on why?

Well mine was doing that and it turned out to be that I had pulled off the trailing plug wire from the plug on the front rotor to check the size socket I'd need, and forgetten to put it back on but I don't think that's what yours would be maybe grounding problem? On the trailing coil perhaps?

well mine doesn't jump anymore, i don't know why, it just stopped.

Same.Just took it for a burn today and seems to be reading fine now.Oh well maybe DLIDFIS will fix it when I hook it up in my car.

Switch the coil wire just for the hell of it.

Or did I miss the orginal ?

I'm sure the coils are hooked up right Steve.But I think I'll wire in DLIDFIS here really soon like in the next couple of days.

Have fun with your new project.

My last post was just a Brain Fart. We all have them once in a while.

Anyhew: Got everything hooked up yesterday and as soon as it stops raining I'm gonna fire the baby up.

Hopefully all will go well with the returned RB Holley and the New Pulley.

I'm a little confused as far where to set up the Disti and the RB Pulley???

Set it at 0% and line up the talley with the dimple or what???

Gonna call them this AM when they open up.

Everthing else should be a no brainer (I Hope).
