BACKSTORY: i was driving my rex on the freeway and it started chuggin up the hills a little and i thought was normal and then it stared doing it just goin on flat ground so i pulled off and called some people to see if they had any ideas about what would possibly cause a problem like this. First thing everybody said to check was the fuel filter, luckly the small town that i pulled off to had a Napa, after three hours and two gas soaked shirts later i got the right part and was back on the road. About ten miles later it started again but not as bad, but is still a problem. NOTE: i had some tools on me for the trip.

PROBLEM: I still need to get back to my home town, i have some ideas of what could be happening, Fuel Pump and or Catalytic converter?

PLEASE: i need your help so i can get back home in my own car, if you have any info that may help me out that would be greatly appreciated! thank you.

Is it getting fuel? does it only do it under load or at idle/out of gear as well?
